Puente Home Partners is currently a business concept in development, not a licensed lender or credit-service provider. This policy describes how information submitted through this website — including the Free Readiness Check — is currently handled. It is provided for transparency and is not a substitute for legal advice.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways: what you actively provide, and what's automatically generated by visiting the site.

You provide directly:

  • Your name and email address, if you complete the Free Readiness Check and request your full plan.
  • Your answers to the readiness-check questions (income range, savings range, credit-history status, and homebuying timeline) — never your exact income, account numbers, or Social Security/ITIN number, which we do not ask for on this site.
  • Any information you include if you email us directly.

Collected automatically:

  • Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) kept by our hosting provider for security and troubleshooting.
  • A hidden timing signal used only to help filter automated spam submissions on the readiness-check form — it is not used to track you across visits.

2. How we use it

  • To send you the results of your Free Readiness Check and follow up with relevant next steps.
  • To respond if you contact us directly.
  • To monitor and improve the site, and to detect and prevent spam or abuse of the readiness-check form.
  • We do not use your information for automated decision-making about your creditworthiness, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. How we share it

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only in these limited cases:

  • Service providers: our hosting provider (DreamHost) processes and transmits form submissions and emails on our behalf, solely to operate this site.
  • Future partner referrals: if and when Puente launches its bilingual-lender, down-payment-assistance, or housing-counseling referral services, we will only share your information with a specific partner after you've clearly opted in to that referral — never automatically.
  • Legal requirements: if required to by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

4. Cookies & analytics

This site does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. Your language preference (English/Español) is kept only in your browser's current session and is not stored on our servers. If we add analytics or cookies in the future, this policy will be updated first.

5. Data retention

We keep readiness-check submissions and contact emails only as long as needed to respond to you and improve our services, and delete them on request (see "Your rights" below). Standard hosting server logs are retained by DreamHost per their own retention schedule.

6. Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are validated and filtered for spam before being processed. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we don't ask for or store sensitive data like Social Security numbers, ITINs, or financial account numbers through this site.

7. Your rights & choices

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Tell you what information we have about you.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Delete your information from our records.
  • Stop contacting you.

To do any of these, email us at the address below. We'll respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children's privacy

This site is intended for adults exploring homeownership and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site and services evolve. We'll update the effective date above when we do. Material changes will be noted on this page.
